Welcome to the Board!
While we do want you to have FUN here, we want you to do so within the rules of this community. Therefore, the first thing I must insist on is that all members READ THE RULES! Be aware – this Board is monitored and violations of the rules are dealt with swiftly. For the good of this community, we do not take kindly to violations of our rules, fighting on the board, foul language, insults, spamming, or other infractions.
1. Introduce yourself:[/b]
- There is a thread made by Victoria herself where you can introduce yourself to the rest of the members. It’s the "Getting to know who's who..." thread here.
- Please DO NOT post a “Hi, I’m new” thread anywhere else on the Board to introduce yourself. It will be deleted.
- You can also say “HI” to other members in the current “Randomness is Awesomeness” thread in the General Board.
2. Post in the right place:[/b]
- The Board is separated into several sections which should be self-explanatory. Each section also has a description as to who may post there and about what.
- Items that deal specifically with Victoria Justice and the show and cast of “Zoey 101” should be posted in the “About Victoria / Zoey 101” section.
- Information about other websites or forums is in the “Web Sites and Forums” section. (See how easy it is? It’s not rocket science!)
- The “Graphics and Blends” section of the Board is for sharing or getting pictures and graphics.
- There are other sections of the Board, in addition to the ones noted above. Again, they should be self-explanatory. Just make the effort to post in the right place, please.
- Items that deal specifically with Victoria Justice and the show and cast of “Zoey 101” should be posted in the “About Victoria / Zoey 101” section.
- Anything that does not fit into one of the pre-designated topics may be posted to the “General Board”.
- If you make your post in the wrong place, it is subject to being moved to the right place or deleted without notice!
3. Common questions from new members:[/b]
- There are FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) threads about Victoria Justice here and here. Those threads should answer most questions you might have about Victoria.
- To find out how to add a picture to your signature, and the rules about sig pics, please read this thread.
- To find out how to add an avatar, please read this thread.
- Yes, Victoria does come to visit this Board often, but she is very busy with her career and does not always have time to reply to all the Private Messages (PM) that people send her.
- If you don’t know what Karma is, please read this thread.
- There is a thread that addresses the subject of “Signs from Victoria” so please read that before asking about it.
- Many other questions can be answered in the “Message Board Info and Rules” section of the Board. Please check that section before you start asking questions that may already be answered there.
4. Stay on topic and don’t spam:[/b]
- If you are going to participate in a thread already in progress, please stay ON TOPIC!
- If you don’t have anything to contribute in a thread, then don’t. We don’t need you to post there just to say that you have nothing to add – that’s silly.
- If you want to just participate in random, non-topical chat, please do so in the current “Randomness is Awesomeness” thread in the General Board.
- ”SPAM” is general, unsolicited, useless trash that’s found around the Internet. We don’t want it here.
5. Starting a new topic:[/b]
- Before you start a new topic (thread) on the Board, please check to see if there’s already a thread on that topic. So before asking your questions about “How do I do this” or “What’s Victoria’s screen name,” look to see if that’s already been addressed somewhere. Also, there are a ton of “What’s your favorite (fill in the blank)” and “What do you think of (fill in the blank)” threads and polls ongoing, and we don’t need a million of them.
- You should only consider starting a new topic if you really feel you have something to say, and something that will be of interest to the other members.
- All threads should have a SUBJECT that gives members an idea as to what the thread is about. Subjects such as “OMG” or “Help” are not acceptable descriptions, and such subjects will be changed to “0” by the Moderators.
- Just because you have nothing better to do, that doesn’t mean you should start a thread to tell us so. Go read a book!
- Duplicate topics or topics that do not benefit the Board will be locked or deleted without notice. If this happens, please DO NOT start that same thread again!
- DO NOT double- or triple-post in your own threads trying to “bump” them to the top.
6. Some more “Do Nots” to help keep you out of trouble:[/b]
(Note that doing these “Do Nots” is an easy way to get suspended or banned from the Board}.
- DO NOT send PMs to people asking them to join your club or forum.
- DO NOT use foul language!
- DO NOT break the rules!
Okay, now that you have made it through that and read our rules, you can start having fun on the Official Message Board of Victoria Justice!
If you have any problems, or still have questions after reading all this stuff, feel free to contact a Moderator or Admin.
