Okay I know i should really go to my doctor for this, but i can't go for like three or four days And I'm trying to research it and it's making no sense to me
And i debated whether or not i should ask for help on here because i mean it's probably medical and idk....i thought that possibly someone would know someone with the same condition or something
I have no idea!
Anyways, I'll explain what's going on. About a year ago, the doctors took some of my blood and told me my blood sugar was slightly low. They said it wasn't a problem and that it would go back to normal as long as i eat right
Well, I've tried to do that... And now i'm having more problems.
First, I started feeling really sick, but when i would eat i would feel better. And it was like an extreme sick feeling. And sometimes i wouldn't feel hungry i would just feel sick and eating would fix it.
I've also started getting dizzy. I used to have an inner ear problem but it never gave me dizzy spells like this. And i thought that would be why i'm getting dizzy now but i noticed that when i get dizzy now, eating will fix it.
And another thing, when I have too much sugary foods, i feel real bad too. And I don't consume like any insane amounts of sugar. i've been eating like i usually do but now it's like too much. I kinda feel sickish but i get more woozy.
I talked to a teacher once about it at school, and she said she wasn't sure but it sounded like i was hypoglycemic...but that was when i just had the first symptom of getting sick and then eating making me feel better. Now with my newer problems i don't think it fits the hypoglycemic symptoms and I can not find anything on what it may be
Like I said, I know i should go to a doctor, but It's getting to be a real problem and my doctor is a weirdo and closes his office at random times and then i have to go down to my college for like two days so i won't be able to get there for a while.
Sorry to bother yall with this, really....but if you know anything that could possibly be causing this let me know. I'll research it all myself. I just really need some help.
Again, really sorry to bother with this

Sounds like Hypoglycemia, but I don't know for sure, and something has to cause that (diabetes is a common cause of it) So ask a doctor for sure, but it sounds like your blood sugar is staying too low and not regulating itself, requiring food when you don't feel hungry. And the feeling bad with too much sugar is also something that happens when your body isn't regulating blood sugar properly, so you've pretty much said everything that fits in the category of Hypoglycemia, but you need to find out the problem causing that. The health site I read said, "Like fever, hypoglycemia isn't a disease itself — it's an indicator of a health problem." Don't quote me on any of this, it's just a guess from what you've said. Hope you get it all sorted out without any real problems

It's pretty much all my thoughts into this one paragraph. ____________________________ Have you had these problems since last year when you took the blood test?

Thanks Yall.
I'm going to the doctor hopefuly tuesday or wednesday. I think my doctor will be re opening his office
Most people say they guess hypoglycemia is the problem
I talked to my mom, she said i definately need to get my blood sugar tested. Apparently Diabetes is strong on my dads side of the family, and my mom's side has a history of it too
last year when I took the blood test the only problem I had was that when i would feel real sick and weak and had to eat to feel better. that hasnt' stopped since i found out about my sugar being low, but i've controlled it pretty well. the dizziness and the woozyness from too much sugar just started to happen.

Hope everything is ok, Mariah
What do you eat when you start feeling sick? How long between eating do these spells happen? That was happening to me for a while when I was not eating regularly, and eating junk food a lot.
I do agree, it does sound like hypoglycemia, which is pretty easy to treat even without medicaiton.
Fingers crossed for you.

I try to eat crackers or some sort of fruit when i get to feeling sick.
I notice i need to eat about every 2 to 3 hours. Usually a snack will fix it, ya know something small. Till about 4 or 5 hours then i need a little more like a meal.
Everyone is saying hypoglycemia. I go to the doctor tomorrow so we shall find out.
Thanks you guys. I really needed to talk about all this

Just went to the doctor today!
I am hypoglycemic.
My sugar gets low, so I eat, which makes my sugar rise rapidly, and my body produces too much insulin to fix my sugar which somehow makes my sugar stay low.
I have to completely change my diet and avoid all the things I love. Milk! Potatoes! Juice! Pasta! Soda!
And I have to pretty much make this a permanent change

So you're stuck to limited sugar foods to avoid the spike? Hopefully you can find something you like that is alright to eat.

So you're stuck to limited sugar foods to avoid the spike? Hopefully you can find something you like that is alright to eat. yeah, my problem is with carbs. apparently I eat too much and I need more protein. If i don't change my ways, my pancreas will eventually quit on me from being overworked, and will make me diabetic because i won't have insulin in my body anymore. It's kinda scary, but i'm glad to know i can control it. Im just having a hard time coping with the fact that this has to be permanent. I'm glad you went to the doctors to find out whats going on. Sorry to hear that you have to change your whole diet though Yeah, That's going to be hard for me. I'm about to go off to college and live in a apartment, so i'll have to cook for myself and the only things i know how to cook are the things i can't eat anymore. It's definatly a terrible time for my body to freak out...but then again it's kinda of a good thing so that i'll be forced to make these healthier habbits that will hopefully stick with me

I'm glad that it's not full blow diabetis though. Some of those changes are a lot easier to make than you'd think... but I fully sympathize with the going off the Pop. I wonder if Diet soda would be ok for you since there isn't sugar. Diabetics can have that... I would think you can too... it would soften the blow.

Yeah i've been drinking diet soda. It has no carbs or sugar so there should be no problem with it.
I'm slowly making the changes. I ate a salad the other day. I don't really like salad but my doctor told me i had to eat it
