Would they have a 7200RPM drive? First, do you notice a difference from 5400 and 7200? They don't sell 320GB for the type i need?

I haven't owned a sub-7200RPM drive in years, so I don't really remember how much of a speed boost the extra RPM gets you. Check other online retailers if you want a larger selection, I personally love Newegg which is why I always recommend them.

Based on a little digging I did, yes. I see a lot of people saying the newer version of SATA is backwards compatible with the older version. Not sure if it applies to all cases, but based on what I've read it looks like a safe bet.

Yeah, I know how to open my computer. If I can take some pictures of the video card, do you think you could spot anything wrong with it? As much as you can, i mean being on the other side of the continent.

Check Best Buy's return policy, maybe you can get a refund if it doesn't work for you. A lot of people seem to be saying SATA 3.0Gb/s is backwards compatible with SATA 1.5Gb/s.

Basically try to focus on the power connector.

I know they have a 30 day policy but I don't know if I want to go through that mess. That's what we did with our router. We bought another one while the broken one is going for repair and we are going to return this router once we get the old one back ;D

Yeah but other people are saying I need to put an adapter on the drive but I dont know if I will have room because the harddrive slides into a specific slot with no extra room.

You shouldn't need an adapter because the connector hasn't changed. I think it's worth a shot, but that's just me.

LOL. I need all my entertainment though with me. Like when I travel (about every month) I need my laptop stuff. And it is just convenient for me.
